About Joshua
Josh got into physiotherapy the way a lot of great physios do — a sport-obsessed teenager with his share of injuries, and a physio who changed the way he understood rehab. His approach is simple: listen first, find the real cause, and build a plan that fits the person in front of him. He does his best work with runners and field- and court-sport athletes, especially the complex, long-standing injuries that have been hanging around — lower-limb tendon injuries, calf, hamstring and quad strains, bone stress injuries and all things running. The advice he comes back to most is to keep moving rather than rest completely, because most injuries recover best with the right load. Josh has worked with athletes across the AFL, AFLW, Queensland Rugby League, VFL and NBL1 — including the Gold Coast Suns, Sydney Swans AFLW, Penrith Panthers, Geelong and Werribee VFL, the Burleigh Bears and Gold Coast Rollers — as well as national-level runners and triathletes.
