About Bevan
Bevan grew up playing a lot of sport and was always around it, so physiotherapy felt like a natural fit — and he finds real satisfaction in helping people reach their goals, whether that is lifestyle or performance. He does his best work with endurance and running athletes and lower-limb injuries, loves working with sporting populations with a soft spot for AFL, and has a keen interest in shoulder and lower-back conditions. There is no cut-and-paste with Bevan: a first session is about hearing your story, landing on a clear diagnosis you actually understand, and building a plan around your goals using a mix of hands-on manual therapy and tailored exercise. His core message to patients is that bodies are far stronger and more adaptable than people give them credit for — a lot of his work is showing patients first-hand how much they can keep doing while they get stronger. Bevan has worked with AFL clubs from local level through to the VFL, and has completed extended training in running biomechanics, running-related injuries like tendinopathies and bone stress, and complex shoulder conditions.
