Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?
No. You can book directly with us, no GP referral needed. If you're on an EPC/chronic-disease care plan, NDIS or DVA, just bring the referral or plan so we can bill it correctly.
Can I claim on my private health fund?
Yes. We have HICAPS on site, so you claim your rebate on the spot and only pay the gap. Bring your health-fund card to your appointment.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We keep same-week availability at Mermaid Waters, and often have next-day spots. Book online to see live times and lock one in instantly.
How much does an initial consultation cost?
An initial physiotherapy consultation starts from $120. Your physio will talk through any follow-up plan and costs with you up front, no surprises.
What should I bring or wear?
Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring any relevant scans, referrals or health-fund details, and arrive about 5 minutes early to complete a short intake form.
Where is the clinic and is there parking?
We're at Shop 19, Waterways Village, 64 Karbunya St, Mermaid Waters QLD 4218, with on-site parking. You'll get directions and a map link in your confirmation email.
